MineX Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what MineX does with information when you play it on your Mac. The short version: the game keeps your records on your own Mac, and collects nothing about you.
Scope
This policy applies to the MineX app for macOS, distributed on the Mac App Store, and to the pages under leafworkstudio.com that support it.
By using MineX, you agree to the handling of information described in this policy.
What Stays on Your Mac
Your best times, per-game statistics, saved replays and app preferences are stored locally on your Mac, inside the app's sandbox. They are not uploaded to us.
MineX has no account. You do not create one, and there is nothing to sign in to in order to play.
You choose where saved replay files go. MineX can read and write files you select, and nothing else on your disk.
What We Do Not Collect
MineX contains no advertising and no advertising SDKs, on any screen.
MineX contains no analytics, telemetry or crash-reporting SDK of any kind. We do not track your play, your records or your use of the app.
We do not sell personal information, and there is none of yours for us to sell.
Game Center, and the Only Time MineX Goes Online
Game Center leaderboards are the only online feature in MineX, and they are off until you turn them on from the Game Center menu or in Settings. A new install never opens with a sign-in prompt.
When you do turn Game Center on, Apple's Game Center service handles the sign-in and the leaderboards. The times and associated game statistics you submit are sent to Apple and shown on the leaderboard under your Game Center identity. Apple's own privacy policy governs that service; we receive no personal information from it.
With Game Center off, the game, your replays and your statistics all work offline.
The App Store and Apple
MineX is sold and updated through the Mac App Store. Apple handles the purchase, and we never see your payment details.
Apple may provide us with aggregate, non-identifying sales and crash information through App Store Connect. We use it only to understand demand and fix problems.
MineX asks for an App Store review after a game you have won, never at launch. The request is handled entirely by Apple's system prompt; whether you respond and what you write are between you and Apple.
Support Correspondence
If you email support@leafworkstudio.com, we receive the address you write from and whatever you choose to tell us.
We use that only to answer you, and we keep it only as long as needed to handle the request and maintain a support record. You can ask us to delete it.
This Website
The MineX pages on leafworkstudio.com are static pages that require no login. The site may use privacy-respecting analytics to count page traffic in aggregate, which is separate from the app and never joined to anything in it.
Children's Privacy
MineX is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13.
Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
Deleting Your Data
You can reset best times from the Best Times window, and delete saved replay files as you would any other file.
Removing the app removes the data it stored on your Mac.
Leaderboard entries are held by Apple; manage them through your Game Center settings.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised Last updated date.
